20 ans après leur première collaboration pour le film culte BOYS IN THE HOOD, Ice Cube et le réalisateur John Singleton pourraient tourner le film NWA (Niggaz With Attitude)

Le long métrage aura pour titre Straight Outta Compton, quartier “chaud” de Los Angeles, du nom du deuxième album du groupe sorti en 1988.

En développement depuis deux ans, le de NWA, qu’on pourrait traduire par « Nègres avec du caractère », reviendra sur l’épopée sulfureuse du groupe qui signa l’avènement du rap « West Coast » (côte ouest). Dr Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren et Eazy-E, mort du sida en 1995, ont officié dans ses rangs de 1986 à 1991.
